BOOTHSAFE® USER MANUAL

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BOOTHSAFE® is a visual signage and deterrent device designed for DJ booths and technical areas containing audio equipment. It has been designed to aesthetically integrate with DJ consoles, controllers, mixers, flight cases, technical tables and professional equipment, helping to keep the area free from drinks and foreign objects.
BOOTHSAFE® provides a visual signage and deterrent function and does not replace supervision of the area by the DJ, technical staff or event organizers.

2. THE TWO OPERATING MODES

PRE-PARTY MODE
Is the recommended setting during the early stages of the event, when guests are entering the venue, club or event area. The graphic design is intentionally discreet and unobtrusive. The message is not designed to be easily readable from a distance, but rather to be recognized mainly by people approaching the DJ console. This mode is designed to maintain the deterrent function without altering the atmosphere of the environment or immediately drawing guests’ attention as they enter the venue.
The design therefore remains integrated with the aesthetics of the console and DJ booth, maintaining a professional and discreet appearance.

Recommended during:

• Guest arrival

• Venue opening

• Early stages of the event

• Moments when a more discreet environment is preferred
  
  
  
  

SAFE MODE
is the high-visibility setting, designed for use when the event becomes busier and more crowded. The graphic design is intended to be recognizable from a greater distance, making it immediately clear that the console area is restricted and that drinks or other objects should not be placed there.

Recommended during:
Busier stages of the evening;

• Periods of increased activity in front of the console;

• Events with a large number of people near the DJ booth;

• Situations where increased visual deterrence is required.
  
  
  

3. POSITIONING
Use BOOTHSAFE® only on a flat, stable, clean and suitably resistant surface.

Before use, check that:

• The surface is dry and free from dust, grease or residue;

• The product is correctly positioned;

• It cannot be easily moved or knocked over; It does not interfere with faders,
  buttons, jog wheels, cables or other operating parts of the console;

• It does not obstruct the normal operation of the DJ or technical staff.
  

• Do not use BOOTHSAFE® on inclined, unstable or unsuitable surfaces.
  
  

4. NON-SLIP FEET
The feet located on the underside of the product are designed to:

• Increase stability;

• Reduce slipping;

• Create a slight separation between the plate and the supporting surface;

• Help reduce minor friction between the product and the supporting surface;

• Improve stability during normal use.

Do not remove, modify or replace the feet with unsuitable components.

The feet do not guarantee that the product will remain stationary in the event of impacts, pulling forces or improper use.

5. SAFETY
Keep BOOTHSAFE® mounted and in use out of the reach of children.

The product is not a toy.

Do not use BOOTHSAFE® as:

• A support for people;

• A step;

• A structural support element;

• A surface for placing heavy objects.
  
  

Take care when mounting, moving or removing the product to avoid falls, impacts or injury.

6. DRINKS AND LIQUIDS
BOOTHSAFE® is designed to make it clear that technical areas and the DJ console area should remain free from drinks and unauthorized access by people carrying drinks. It provides a deterrent function and does not guarantee that spills or accidents cannot occur. For greater safety, always keep drinks and liquids away from consoles, mixers, controllers, computers, power supplies, cables and other electronic equipment.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For cleaning, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.

Avoid:

• Abrasive sponges;

• Scouring pads;

• Sharp tools;

• Abrasive products;

• Harsh solvents.
  
  

Do not apply excessive pressure to the printed surface.

Before using detergents or cleaning products, check that they are compatible with the product’s surface and graphics.

8. PRE-USE CHECK
Before each use, check that:

• The plate is intact;

• The feet are present and correctly positioned;

• There are no loose parts;

• The supporting surface is stable and clean;

• The product does not interfere with the equipment;

• The product is correctly positioned in the desired area.
  
  

If any damage, deformation or loose parts are present, do not use the product until its condition has been checked.

9. INTENDED USE
BOOTHSAFE® has been designed for use in:

• DJ booths;

• Nightclubs and clubs;

• Festivals;

• Private events;

• Weddings;

• Corporate events;

• Audio production and rental services;

• Music events;

• Entertainment venues and facilities.

10. GENERAL WARNING
BOOTHSAFE® is a visual signage and deterrent device. It may provide a small physical barrier, but it cannot absolutely prevent a person from entering the area, placing a drink there or accidentally causing a spill. The user is responsible for correct positioning, proper use and supervision of the area. Use the product exclusively for its intended purpose.
